First of all leaving aside signal dwindling! That's normal. For it to be stable you have to do the following. Make sure your lnb is set to Horizontal, ie facing towards your right instead of left. Manage to get TVC channel 3702H49999 signal quality on SES5 to 72 and above then AFN will pop in when you blind scan!

Gulf star lnb it does better.
I use that for AFN but I have to be honest you have to be really good to get it. Its signal quality is very weak!

Experience says those are just labels that manufacturers print! The best is go with a popular lnb in your local area. You may think 13k does better than 17k but practically may disappoint. So go with what popular in your local area. For example in most African countries there is heating problem. Som...

These Freesat boxes are made to last longer! No heating problems under normal heat, unless when you feel its beyond 38c.

I got the AFN but not the MTN MTN is gone. Thety changed the hash mode and no one ahs hacked it since. After Freesat updated the software for the new hash mode for Sony off Asiasat 7@195.5e, it worked for about 36 hours and they changed the hsah mode again. This will be the way of it. MTN and Sony ...
