I think its better you upgrade first and check if anything is not fixed. For me the updates are great I never experience any issue.

The V8Pro2 update was only aimed to correct Iptv, and include greek language among others. For powervu, its stil the same, no update.

They have moved to a new hashmode! Even the new V8Pro2 is down on sony on 68.5 and A F N on 5east. I believe now that the chinese new year is over, we will get updates soon from the GT media Team.

No it doesnt. I think the latest update was not based on new hashmode but for fixing some inner bugs, Iptv and greek osd language.
