Does anyone know where to find comparisons between the models? I'm not sure which version is the latest, which have H.265, or which are satellite only... I want a satellite only (no ethernet/CAT-5 - yes, there's a reason), H.265 receiver with a good processor... Is the V7S the best for those specs? ...

May I have the softcam list for North America? I'm using sats 97°, 101°, 118.7°, 125°, and 131°(while its still up). Thank you so very much.

I'm curious... Why can't an H.265 capable receiver downscale 4K? I guess that's a silly question. If it could interpret 4K, it could probably output 4K too. Oh well, guess when there's enough 4K channels, I'll get a 4K receiver. Hey, what's on the 101° 4K channels worth watching?

And, how well does wifi handle a stream?

What is the bandwidth required for an IPTV stream?

They added StartTV too - a bunch of 90s shows like Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. And Freesat receivers are of the few that can get these channels since the broadcast is a strange setup - I'm guessing they have bad amps and the transponder is made to look like several individual transponders (I'm guessin...

That is the GCI mux. Part of it is on 101°W now too - it is about 1/2 the channels that were on the 137°W mux.

And it would be nice to not have any mandatory IDs, but video in particular, so that the radio channels on 103°W can be added.

Check the 13/18VDC power from the switch and the receiver - I've had a switch go bad too.

I think that satellite is about to retire. Several transponders are down. Check out Satsignature.com and it shows the gaps.

131°W is currently making a BUNCH of changes, so I don't know how long theirs will be the same.
