8psk channels support

Post by kokuo »

Hi,
is the support for 8psk channels planned on a future firmware for the Freesat V7 HD?
At the moment it seems that 8psk channels are not supported and fail to open (e.g. RSI La 2 on the SGR Swiss bouquet).

Thank you
Kok

I have opened 8PSK and 16PSK channels here in New Zealand with these units.

One of the issues with 8PSK, and up, is that you need very good reception or it drops out.

I also scanned in and opened 8APSK channels with my V7 HD loaded with the newest bin file. These were on 97w 3940 H 30000 using a 10.5ft dish.

Another forum I go to had guys with both the V7 and V8 that opened 16APSK channels also that were ITC on 97W. That feed is no longer active though.

Thank you for the heads up guys :)

Then it seems that the issue is on my system only.
It's weird as I have perfect vision on the RSI La 1 HD but got scrambled cannel on RSI La 2.

I'll try once again to play around with the settings, let's see.

Thanks again :)
