I have had this too.
The problem is with deleting code lines from the V7 while in Constant CW.
When you delete a line, sometimes a different line, or two lines, are deleted.
When you restart the unit other lines may be missing.

When I have all the lines I want, I "Export" my softcam.key file so if this happens I can reload (Import) it again.

Engineer please note this. Deleting in Constant CW is faulty.

Also when a line is "Edited" only the edited line shows after, but when you leave the key entry menu and return the original line and the edited line are there.
This happens in all types of code entry, powervu, biss, Constant CW etc.

I noted early in Freesat's start that when a key code is deleted it is only flagged as deleted and the code remains in the data files.
I remember seeing deleted codes there early on.
It could be this causing the problem.

hi anyone can help me i tried this new firmware after the upgrade when tried to watch the channels after few seconds it freezes i have to reboot again the box any solution?

Yes I also are getting many freezes needing reboot.
One day we hope they will fix this.

Yes I started using my V7HD more as it has the Constant CW.

I too use DiSEqC moving and what a pain in the Sat menu trying to do something without the "Moving Dish" message repeatedly flashing up.

Engineers please fix this repeating "Moving Dish" message in the satellite menu.

There seems to be a problem with the later hardware versions regarding downgrading.

I have earlier hardware and do not have this problem.

So does this mean that the three V7 Max that I bought just four months ago in October 2016 (and are of the old HW type) are no longer upgradeable, and are essentially obsolete?

You can upgrade but don't change satellites and switch channels too much and too fast, this cause the freeze.

P/S: To Freesat Team, with the newest firmware malaysia channels in 91.5E Measat 3 became no sound (all models, old and new), how to sell like that?

Guess it's a bit like buying a Ferrari........and then being told by the manufacturer not to drive it too fast 'cause the wheels might fall off.

Although, from my experience, the Freesat receivers certainly ain't no Ferrari

I am also facing frequent occasional freezing since upgrading to this new firmware (V7 Combo). Sometimes also it will appear that the box doesn't freeze but the box does not respond to key presses from the remote.

i can't, the box wouldn't allow downgrading to previous firmware. Is there anyway I can override this?

New model usb/flash.bin definitely won't work, downgrade by RS232 tool or wait for new firmware is your option. But cannot watch HBO after downgrading. If you want HBO stick to this version. To avoid freezing, don't chnage satellites and switch channels too often, too much and too fast, be gentle and be slow motion, understand?

Thing has changed, Freesat upgrade is now a nightmare!
