my V8 super did that till I went to satellite List and un checked all the satellites then it worked Fine.

You came to the wrong place man, V8 so far haven't has this phenomenon yet (Moving Dish, Please Wait).

V7 was a perfect piece of tin before the 23/12/2016 firmware.

Why don't these software engineers have a look at the 23/12/2016 firmware or now the near to perfect V8 and have a cure for V7, since they are all created by the same hands.

Disable popup message is no good for some people because they don't keep the STB and the positioner at the same place.

Out of curiosity, do you have a motorized dish and is giving you this message of moving dish? Or you don't have motorized dish and getting this message?
I am testing V7HD, V7 Max and V8 Super with 9 working LNBs with 8x1 Diseq switch and 1 22KHz Tone switch, I change channel from channel to 1 sat to the other never got that message, that is why I ask if you have motorized system ...

Don't know if you were asking me for these details or not but yes, I have a 10ft Cband Motorized Dish which is controlled by DiseqC 1.2 using a Vbox II dish mover that is already programmed with all the sat locations I use. And note here that I have 3 different receivers I've used with this system with NO problems except for this V7 junk.

When I go into the Satellite Setup menu and setup motor control then try to "edit" ANYTHING in that Satellite Setup menu the the damn moving dish crap pops up ad nauseam ANYTIME I try to change from one satellite to another, ie, if I need to move up 5 satellites to edit, then the damn V7HD tries to move to every damn satellite location BEFORE it will go to the 5th one that I want to be on. It starts and stops and starts and stops and I just want to take a freaking sledge hammer to the damn receiver!! In fact, I'm amazed that it's still in one piece!

So that's why I just disabled ANY DISH CONTROL by the receiver and have to use the Vbox II remote to move the dish.

Does that explain it?

Ferialkiwi is aware of this as he's complained about it also in the thread I started months ago.
