Re: EMM keys for=131.0w=133.0w=135.0w
Hi
I have a V7 max ,it works fine on powervu but took me some time with the set up
i typed the keys in manually for Powervu ,a screen shot of the V7's entry page with the keys sure would have helped ,don't forget after the keys are typed in you must reboot for them to work .
i still need to try entering autoroll keys manually sometime ,a screen shot of the data on the entry page might help.
Does the V7 max even support autoroll in North America ?
The North American Sat list sure helped out too!
Works great in North America ,6 ft dish ,dual C-KU feed ,
Hope this counts 9 more posts to go for a cam file !

You enter EMM keys the same way you do ECM keys, EMM keys only use 00 index keys, no 01 index keys are needed for EMM keys, the EMM keys are used by the receiver to find new ECM keys, the ECM keys are what opens the CHs.Marantz wrote:Hi

Thank you iq180
I will give it a try ,i see the key line is 00 and the provider Id is given,along with the key ,after the semicolin do you have to add the degrees and tp info and symbol rate with polarity or just a semicolin at the end .
i presume you add it into the regular powervu key menu however i saw something mentioned about a constant key menu .is this used too?
sorry for all the questions but there isn't really a step by step guide like what was used in the good old days on fortecs,viewsats ,coolsats ,infusions,cnx nano and others

provid=== idx====KeyData
00123456 00 01234567891234
If you add it to the softcam key file with your computer it will look like this.
P 00123456 00 01234567891234 ;
You can add any extra info you need so you can ID the key after the semicolin
