What would you like to change in your V7?

Post by wlodek_mega »

Propanuję post here your wishes change, it will help developers create even better V7.

At the beginning of my wishes:
- Put in a menu option to disable or dim the LCD, and perhaps even the clock
- Make one group favorites as hidden (5689)
- Description of the program (2 x Info) lack of scrolling text
- EPG info about the program to do a wider window

Thanks to the creators for their work and greetings to all.

BI$$ one touch.
remove that 0000000000000 on the board and make it easier.
Blind scan sometimes doesn't show all TPs please fix.

Please readd IPTV feature in the Freesat V7 STB.
Also add Facebook and Google+ app and Videoguard and Conex key features.
After these addition, it will be the great STB at low cost for everyone.
Thanks.

There is no indication of the modulation type (QPSK, 8PSK, 16APSK) or FEC.
There is no indication of the video resolution (720p, 1080i, etc) of the received signal.
Adding these to info screen would be very helpful.

Also allow manual entry of signals with sr as low as 726.
Receiver will pick them up if you use editor for manual entry but by remote it will not allow you to input a low SR of 726.

Please,
Insert EPG Bar showing info about the progress of the channel program.
In the last update (08/31/2016), EPG info is bad. If possible, fix this one to showing complete informations about channel program.
Thanks

First of all try to fix all the issues faced by many members on this receiver. Once we have this receiver working flawlessly, can one ask for suggestion to have changes. Hope you understand. Thanks.

-add support for specific encrypted PMTs, ex: BBC 27.5w (or could be solved with emc editing in channel editor??)
-Select fav group by number (already numbered, but not functioning)
-when changing fav group move diseqc motor only after pressing ok
-simple network browser, insert ip and list directory to read media files.
