How are you?
Picking up Telstar12 in central europe with both ESPNs coming in loud and clear on my V7Combo.
According to kingofsat there are a bunch of english channels there as well.
But no signal on 11043v. Could the high symbol rate of 44100 be the cause? :?:
Kind regards
Mike

Check out the footprint on (flysat), for the BBC SATBACK channels, some forums say the footprint is more towards the North sea.

The V7Combo is a very old model. Such high SR most of the time are transmitted on DVB-S2X format. The V7Combo hardware can not handle them.

Thanks a bunch for the replies.
Footprint shouldn't be an issue, I can pick up the BBCs on 28°e with a 60cm dish no problem.
It was more of a technical question and I think it's the hardware of the box that's limiting my reception experience.
Kind regards.

Just to help you a bit more, the following GTMedia receivers, can receive and decode the said channels all have (NON-MARS) software.
V8X / V7S2X / V7S5X, plus another well known receiver (tm M4), very good signal here in the UK West Midlands.
As yet have tried the GT Combe, will try it and let you know.
Tried the GT Combe this afternoon, works very well.

It's great that you're picking up ESPN channels on Telstar12 in Central Europe! Regarding the issue with the 11043v frequency, the high symbol rate of 44100 could indeed be the cause of the lack of signal. High symbol rates can sometimes lead to difficulties in receiving signals, especially if your equipment isn't optimized for it. You might want to check your satellite dish alignment and the capabilities of your receiving equipment to ensure they're compatible with such high symbol rates
