You can't watch Astro channels using Freesat box as it is encrypted and also, it is no longer possible to be cracked open using card sharing protocols such as CCcam (Cline). It is where you connect it to the internet, and then you can watch TV channels. But of course, this is illegal. But in recent years, Astro has upgraded and tighten their security system, so this method of watching Astro channels illegally is no longer possible.

Freesat is a universal satellite box, and the main purpose is to be able to watch satellite TV channels that is available from various satellites. It is not primarily meant to decrypt TV channels and watch it illegally, either for free or paid, although technologically it is still possible.
