Data error
YouTube is giving a " Data error " message when a video is selected. Is this a firmware problem or something I am the only one experiencing. I have read that there have been numerous issues with youtube app on v7 . My freesat V7 firmware version is V3.02.113.608 20/09/2017. And, by the way can you enlighten me about the date format What month is 20? Or is 09 the month and 20 the day.

I'm getting the same error on my V8 Golden, youtube has always worked well before so there could be a fault somewhere.

Most of the world use DD/MM/YYYY date format. The USA uses MM/DD/YYYY, they like to be different. No live links (Rule #18) highlight the URL and use the Code tag option "</>"

Thanks, I guess the firmware update I attempted didn't take since the date was Sept. I will try to update the firmware again. What's odd is that YouTube was working before my attempted update. I am a novice and have read a lot on the forum hoping to not ask a stupid question. I was probably unsuccessful at that.

Before you update remember to BACKUP CHANNEL LIST / SOFTCAM.

Will the bug when viewing the YouTube on the receiver Freesat V7 Combo be fixed?

data error in play youtube any video my v8 golden updated ,624 firmware sometime play success but more time data error same problem dailymotion and other video watch apps and pendrive use some video format not support hang the box

The new firmware Freesat V7 Combo (21/03/2018) fixed the problem (Data error!) with youtube play. Thank.
