My problem has nothing to do with Radio TPs as I never scan radio and have no radio TPs. It will only complete a full scan if I delete the offending TP 4110 v 7135 from the list. If the TP 4110 v 7135 is in the list it will not complete the scan. On doing full scans - I rarely do full scans always blind scans. A blind scan will usually pick up many more channels than a full scan.

This is not a problem you have. This is a problem everybody does have. If the TP is save in the satellite TP table it will always download it if using blindscan even if you only check for TV only. The only work around is to manually delete the offending TP and run a full scan which you rarely do. Blindscanning the sat will pull the offending TP into your box even if you check TV only.

You could try this.
Change the frequency for the LNB setting in the antenna settings from 5150 to 5750 and try blind scanning.
Set up with a new satellite in the sat list so you don't scan in all the incorrect TP numbers on your normal sat.
That TP should scan in with 3510 v 7135 or 4710 v 7135.
This will show if the problem is with the recorded numbers in the TP list or with the info coming from the TP.

Tried your suggestion. Made new satellite. Empty TP list. Changed from 5150 to 5750. Blind scan TV only stops at 4710 v 7135.
Please note that these are not total lock ups. The V8 will just keep scanning 4710 v 7135 forever. I can just exit the scan.

This must be something is the TP info that stops the Freesat unit.
My old Skybox F5 and F5s both placed one channel in all lists after a scan of that sat.
Something in the name and data for that channel made the channel list display think it was flagged for all lists.
These units use codes in the data file for "End" and "Start" of channel entries.
If the channel name or data is the same as this end or start code then the list is corrupted.

This could be what is happening with that TP.

There is no way around this but for manual entry of TP info and full / auto scans.
