Owen if I may ask, does the v7 plus' Fw autoroll the A F N? Given that it has not been officially introduced in the forum.

Not at the moment. The software in the early release unit I have is from a month or more back.
I would expect new software releases would do A F N like the V7s does.

And I do not think it needs update. Mine came with the keys already “outta the box”

no Marsat, Feralkiwi is correct. it does not autoroll on 64.2E. I also have checked. it needs update.

If you look at the appearance of the v7 pluss, then this slot has removed the slot for the cards and the RS232 connector of another kind. Has anyone already tested it? What makes it different from the v7 combo?

I tried my friend to update to other kind but am not sure about the chipset name they told me it's ( montage 8052) bit am not sure.????

---> 3.5mm slot for adapter to RS232 adapter not included

on V7 Plus

- Channel capacity 10,000 channels (V7 Combo says 6000 never tried)
- Record one channel and watch a the same time another channel (the catch same TP)
- check IKS account (sorry I do not have cccam accounts) Just Newcam
- recheck on Motor. tried USALS and become crazy like a radar from east to west. But at the moment had tropical storm going on (gordon) so I could reset motor outside. Diseqc 1,2 was working fine

Like I said for some reason mine came with a LOT of embedded keys, and the one that opened was 5 times faster than V8 Super

The only I do not like which is software cosmetic, is the same as V7 Series and is not a 3 column channels display

Marsat, please try how many BISS keys your set can take. I have 610 BISS (provided by Eak_Dumnern) in softcam file. When I imported them to the box initially it was okay showing 610 but after restarted it showed only 239. Thanks.

Ok these are the results you were looking into.

due the fact I have only a handful of Biss keys I did not see this issue, so impossible to replicate
So...

I have 711 Powervu (lines) uploaded saved them reset decoder and still there
I used only 2 Biss keys lines correctly formatted and replicated over a thousand times (1,082 to be exact)

Uploaded (previusly deleted all keys and reboot decoder) and in seconds uploaded everything

711 PowerVu
1000 Biss keys (lost 82 keys)

So is telling me that the limit is 1000 for Biss (not tested for Powervu)

Upon turning the decoder Off and back on

is BUMI fault!! 240 keys only so lost 842

So thinking It may be a display issue (showing on screen only 240) but all the keys are saved on the ROM...so

I exported the file

The results

711 PowerVu
240 Biss

and added 8 lines of
#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*# Auto ECM Key #*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#
which I have no clue where they came from nor could find sat info


so yes it a limit of 240 on Biss

I said now new model of Freesat or GTmedia need press something before show menu, which before freesat v7 no need. you can press that menu and input CCCam server or input softcam.key

v7c also have 2port usb,1port inside front cover
