How to search for a single channel

Post by red devil »

Hello,

I did a full scan and a channel that I want was not found.

How can I search only for that channel?

Thank you

Not on this model if not mistaken. You would need to know the PID for that channel
You may scan the whole TP however
Check if that channel not showing is not H.265 where your decoder will ignore. Will download the TP of blind scan but will not bring any channels or UHD channel

Ok understanding you know the tp
You go to installation
Then you go to the satellite you want
After that you press RECALL key
And will display all TPS for that satellite only
You go to the transponder
Once there you press the blue button to scan

If for some reason you dont find your transponder, you may add it using red button

What box have you, & what channel on what satellite are you trying to get.
To scan a TP - Menu - Installation - Satellite List - Press OK on the Sat you want to scan, (make sure there are no other sats ticked) - Press Menu - then TP List - arrow up or down to whatever TP you want to scan - Press Blue button to scan, (Scan Mode - Normal, FTA - No, Scan Channel - TV, Network Search - No) & Press OK on Search.

Awesome it worked, but it seems to be scanning more than just the TP I told him...

Does this duplicate channels I already had?

It only scans the TP you select, no it doesn't duplicate channels, it adds any new ones.
