V8super sat2ip

i just got a V8 super ,its running the new file and works great......certainly a good bang for the buck

When i try the sat2ip feature the receiver works OK on non scrambled channels but if i try to watch a PV channel it crashes and reboots. Using VLC on the remote/ wireless laptop to view . Tried Win vista, 7 and 8 operating systems

I read through the forums , there are a lot of old posts using the older software files, just wondering if anyone has had much success with sat2ip watching a PV channel with the new software ?

Am i wasting my time with this app and should i just get a video sender or a wireless HDMI broadcaster
