feature request: blindscan below ??? symbol rate

Hi,

I (and I'm sure many others) use the V8 super for feed hunting.

Please consider adding a 'add channels below symbol rate' option in the blindscan menu, It would only add channels below a set symbol rate.

Otherwise, is there another box which can perform this function??

I agree with your proposal.
Especially V8 Super is the most stable among Freesat.
From me, I want Freesat to be able to search SR1000 ~.

We are expecting Freesat / GTMedia software engineers.

Not just the scanning, the V7 Plus will not scan in a SR1000 TP as it does not wait long enough to lock before it scans.
Th V7 Plus will "See" the 1000sr TP in the TP menu and show levels after a few seconds, but not scan it.
The older units (Golden and the like) would TP scan an entered SR1000 TP as you have said.

I think the problem is the speed of the scanning process in general.
An option for slow scan would fix this, like the older "Accurate" scan option.

I've had word from the tech team that it is possible. There has been no commitment or times given for this. We'll just have to wait and see what happens!
