My V8 golden purchased 6 months ago don't want to switch On. I tried many ways with no success (from the back button, from the remote control). When is plugged I have only Green light on. I contacted the seller who doesn't give me a solution. If someone knows anyway to get it working back, it will be helpful.

Place a copy of the software on a USB stick and rename it "flash.bin"
With the USB in the V8 power on while repeat pressing "Menu" on the remote.
The unit will reload the software.
If this faile you will need to try thr\e RS232 recovery method.

The RS232 recovery worked fine for me.
But the firmware 04/03/2017 stuck the STB.
NEED THE METHOD ON HOW TO DOWNGRADE.
