With Mars software, first check your settings, Menu / Settings / OK / 0000 / OK / Move curser Down to Subtitle Control, make sure is set to (ON), then move curser Down to Net Subtitle, again make sure set to (ON), then Exit.
Then on the Channel, press (SUB--T) on the remote, at the screen move the curser down to settings / OK, then Action as required.

Subtitles are OK , they are showing on channels where available
My question is if possibie to change their colour, from white to .. for example in yellow
Question is for developers if they can add that option

Yes, this can be done, as per my post, With Mars software, checked against V8X model.
Just to confirm, you can change font / colour / size etc.

But , in second try out did get that susb settings menu , and change colour to yellow
Sadly ( for me ) subtitles remain white

V8 UHD is very unstable compared to V8NOVA Orange Firmware(05/08/2021. EPG not working, poor interoperability with CCcam. When to expect a firmware update to V8 UHD to fix these bugs? I don't use MARS.

You can put version 245, the epg has always had bugs that you should update

They shared 248. It's better, maybe a little. The new HotBird G has started working. I scanned the satellite and many new programs appeared. Updating to 248 broke channel editing. I can't move the channel. I can only delete.

You must press the yellow key, press ok and scroll the channel, once it is at its destination press the yellow key

Thanks, I already have version 249. Yellow works. Italy LTN I'm from Poland!. I don't know what it is, how to do it? Deleting a channel does not change the remainder number. The scanned list does not start with 1, but another. I can't assign a channel number in the list. Needed channel list editor for GTMEDIA V8UHD

I tried to update to the latest version of the software and a popup message came up fail
I downloaded the last 4 of the available updates on the V8 UHD all of them fail
What would be the reason for this

It may be a USB problem, try another storage device in FAT32 or NTFS

Im having the same issues, can't update.
Trying to update to latest MARS firmware from previous mars version and it just says "Fail".

I tried 3 different usb sticks as well.

In the mars version when you turn on the switch the subtitles always appear where they exist, how do you stop them from appearing every time you start after turning them off?

Yu could do the following, Menu / Settings / OK / OK again / Scroll Down to (Subtitle Control) change to (OFF) / then EXIT out to get back to your picture.

How to update the receiver, online update does not appear, the version is V1.10.7293

The last update Mars wise, was V8734 dated 8 Nov 2023.
You may have to look at the Mars (Facebook) page, to get the information required.
