how to properly config my v8nova

Hi, i got receiver for some time, but from couple of months it freeze as hell. I keep reading forum for solution but cant find anything. I tried some diffrent lines but it keep freezing so i think its not the case. Can someone explain step by step how to properly config my receiver. I found a guy near me who sells "premium lines" but he asked me 1. what device i use (easy peasy), 2.what oscam i got (not idea how to check it), 3. about my channel list (just bought one "newest" from local auction site). No more ideas, so i ask for some advise. Thanks

V8 Nova is an old model. What satellite or provider are you using? Close source boxes other than Enigma2 include Oscam inside firmware. Usually latest ones. Channel list usually change randomly so it is best to keep yours updated scanning you satellite.
