Freesat v8super firmware 11/10/2017

The freesat v8 super firmware 11/10/2017 are the same I have on my records from (2016/12/21)Are the same file.I don't uze old files.I never see nathing like that before.On the 23 years on the free to air .Please Explain the purpose of that firmware .Tankyou

For freesat v8 super is normal upgrade new firmware, it is not problem inculde new firmware of freesat v7 all model. I have some trouble upgrade only Freesat v8 golden. may be misktake inside files.
You can see my picture below as shown after upgrade.
F/W: v4.5.116.580 lastest version.

Mine show exactly as the photo posted in this thread also.
I have found it helps to rename the file on the usb to show the version so it looks like this.
>v8_580_super.bin<
Especially if your using the same usb each time you may forget to delete the old one so this way you know which file it is by the S/W Version.

Since it is not reflected, I reverted to the previous version. (V580-->V 579)
