The V8 finder has no encryption software at all.
It will not decode any channels.
No software update will fix this as the software is not in the unit to decode.

Google Translate:
I understand they can do the sat finder 2 that supports the software. freesat v7 is much smaller and has the software for powervu etc can do the sat finder 2 that if you support it please
I have not heard of a "V8 Finder 2".
The New V8 Finder(V-71HD) hardware version does switch all DiSEqC switches and USALS too.
This hardware version has a blue LED for the "Lock" light. The older hardware has a green LED.
While the finder is based on the V7HD the hardware does not support the same software (V7HD software) and does not have Poqwervu.

Hi,

In all firmware updates says:

1) Add new platform information. What does It mean?

2) Change logo to GEMEDIA. Why?

I agree with some mates, It is almost imposible to see the small numbers of the signal bar when alligning the dish. It would be great if we could maximise an specific TP as in the satlink firmware. Hope someone of the team could implement this feature.

Hola, las barras de señal son muí pequeñas y no se ve casi nada los números. En la próxima actualización podrían modificar eso por que es por lo que se usa este aparato, para ver la señal que hay y verla en grande.
Gracias, Saludos

That looks to be a "Uni Cable" LNB

Try using the unicable settings in the V8

These are used to provide four STB with access to the same LNB.
