Is there a downloadable manual to get more information

Post by Skywoolf »

I am using satellite TV in the Philippines but the channel options via Cignal TV, the supplier, are incredibly boring.

Can I use this product to receive other channels from the satellite?

Is there a downloadable manual to get more information before I buy?

Thank you. I have downloaded a manual and will go through it later.

I am having trouble with all the initials like DLNA, STB, CS OSD, SCPC, NCPC, that are all new to me. Is there a list somewhere with what they mean?

Your best bet for initials is wiki on line.

In satellite stuff these are common:
LNB: low noise booster. This is the lump in front of the satellite dish that converts high frequencies to lower ones for the STB.
STB: Set top box, the box that connects the satellite to TV.
FTA: Free to air, the free channels on the satellite.

Here on the freesat forum you have a PM box, Personal messages.
I sent you a PM.
You will see "Private Messages" at the top right of the forum screen.
