GT MEDIA V8 GOLDEN NOW OUTDATED BOX

I noticed following disadvantages of a V8 Golden GT Media.
*Sony package on 66 not auto rolling..only by inserting manual PVU channels now open
*Sony package on 68.5 now stopped working since few days ago where as other receivers are still able to open all Sony channels without any interruption.
*SKY NEWS channel on 68.5 bow not auto rolling even inserting manual PVU key not opening where as still other Receivers are still opening channel
*GMA PINOY package on 76.5 not auto rolling,only inserting manual PVU key GMA pack I able to open.
*PBA /VIVA ENTERTAINMENT package on 91.5 is not auto rolling or even manual PVU key not accepting.
*Sony package on 105.5 still not able to open on GTMEFIA V8 where as other receivers are able to open since few months ago.

Friends now I see this V8 Golden box is a quite outdated box incomparred with other competitive stb's available in the market.

I do not understand why GT Media soft ware developers are so lethargic to release new firmware's in order to crack above listed issues on V8.

As a V8 user I'm very disappointed with the GT MEDIA technical team.

Hi, I have been trying to watch just one program on 2nd Avenue for weeks (RJ Friday nights) with no luck.
I have V7HD, V8 Golden, and NOVA with latest software from this forum, but I think they have gone to a later version of Power Vu+.
Could you recommend any receiver that will get 2nd Avenue (Solar Entertainment Group)?
(RJ program is on the net but much worse quality compared to Measat)

Tony...which part of world you live??for me in Srilanka 91.5 Solar group channels not gettable even with a huge size dish

I am really after RJ TV which is on 2nd Ave and trying everything apart from travelling to Asia!
