Hi,

My new receiver V8 Nova must have some problem: I found no way to insert any cam nor its possible to access Network app, DLNA,Sazip and on line movie, IPTV.
What's the issue?

Can anyone help me?

I have not tried USALS yet.
It was said to be fixed with the last update.

Nope different receivers, and dont try to load firmware that is not made for your receiver you might end up with a door stop.

IPTV is not working
When you login to Xtram IPTV is hangs up and have to Switch off from piwer button
The other GTMedia Freesat abroad IPTV is useless no channels no login nothing

Any solution or i should return back the receiver ?

Goto "Tools" then xlick "Conditional Access" after that click 6666 then you can enter cam or import softcam.key file

Yes, USALS can not read signal strength as same as V8S too.
It's firmware issues.
V8S old F/W was OK, But V8NOVA not fix it.

I tested my V8 Nova using the 27 June software and it does USALS ok.

I tested again using the DiSEqC motor setting and it works through the switches with that too.

I tested it directly connected, OK.
Connected through a DiSEqC 1.0 switch, OK.
Connected through a DiSEqC 1.1 switch, OK.
Connected through both a DiSEqC 1.1 and DiSEqC 1.0 switch, cascade, OK.

This is the first time I have had USALS work through cascade switching with Freesat units.
Well done Freesat.

My test used a 1m cable from the box to the switches and then a 10m to the dish / mover.
I loaded port 1 of the switches with a LNB and used ports 3 or 5.
I had no splitter in the circuit.

I did note that if the dish needs to move some distance I had to change channel to another channel on the same sat to get a signal.

SANCAKTAR, if you are still having problems getting a signal with USALS check you have the correct longitude set for each sat, east west etc, and that you have you correct lat / long set in your "Location" (Green button from the menu).
