Freesat v8 finder Spectrum Analyzer

Post by asadgenius4u »

Please add feature of live spectrum analyzer in next update. Please increase size of digits while searching for satellite and adjustable beep settings based on strength of signals found. It will also be awesome to add cccam mgcamd, media player from usb, and add middle east satellites in satellite database. Please do add wifi based feature like YouTube and iptv but these are of least priority.
I hope development team will try to add maximum of these features. I assure you with all these features, you need not to develop any other product to capture the international market, it will give you enough boost.
Thanks.

Asad
with all my love you are naive
live spectrum analyzer in a USD $50  sat finder/meter
No my friend they a new model a new device with new circuitry and completely new software.
Naive because still the manufacturer has not addressed current issues and since I got the prototype, been over I don't know, a year or more
The use of spectrum analyzer is just top of the line, no need for Hobbyist, it is just a toy due the deviation of LNB is high so a ltlle movemnt it goes off the scale
Spectrum analyzer, (shhhhh do not say anything I DO USE IT) is for LNB and devices of high precession in where YOU need to be exact on the middle of the wave peak. And for what? Military use, Data RX and TX, TV stations anything that is professional.
But again I DO USE IT! Is no need I repeat if you
Is not the same having a USD $12 with a LO Frequency Stability of almost 1Ghz than a downconverter used by say beIN sports of 5Khz

Story short, Satellite company installed in my house Satellite Internet LNB cost around $300 (well that is the price they sell) I need that for emergency this is Hurricane Area, and saved me last year. Because I paid for that and installation was included, the technician already came with all brackets and hardware "pre-oriented" he just made minor adjustments through computer software

Now Asad
give a real signal strength value on V8 Finder then we talk adding Porno Channels on the finder

What I am saying and I am sorry Freesat, I do not recommend it. At all, neither for Hobbyist worse for professionals. If someone wants the list of all issues will be Glad to post it. Last year I sent that to the Manufacturer Head Office at their request, only they did is add Satelitte and Transponder Info.
Many of you like myself I dont care actually I delete everything
Asad tell me truth do YOU care about Western Arc of you like in the Middle East ? same as me for Asian Sat I dont catch them?
Again Manufacturer, you have my private email. I sent you videos and pictures for FREE, nothing is Free in this live. What have you done? adding SAT and TP.
Ohh yes I do use the V8 Sat Finder, not a paper weight ah ah, I use as Satellite Radio

So I will ALWAYS complain about software stability and reliability. Not Keys, PowerVu Biss
But about Keys yes I there is nor PowerVU Hash, the software NEEDS to be updated for that new encryption at least.

I could see a use for a basic screen display of what frequencies have signal, like a bar graph.

This would be useful for finding those frequencies that the blind scan misses in most Freesat units, like those with low SR of 1500.

But then it wold be easier to fix the blind scan.

If the signals strength worked a bit better in the finder that would be enough.

As for full spectrum Annaliser, I agree with Marsat, that is too much to expect from an cheap hand held unit.

Dishes; 3x3m, 2.4m and 4.1m, 10+ ku, 2 movers, USARLS. V8 Combo, Pro, V8 Golden, Nova V8Pro2, GTC, Super.V7HDs, Combo and V7s V7Plus Finder, Finder-Meter V8X / UHD V7Pro GT/XCombo. Sats 100.5E to 177W. I'm a Sat hobbyist who helps out.

I do not know your country. Wish one day I can visit.
And I do not know your budget either. For devices with spectrum analyzer I do not think you can get it less than USD$150
There are the Sathero Models/ I do not have one, never tried my Brazilian Friends use it a lot as Well in Europe. My only Sathero was an SH-100. I ended throwing it away.
I like the Satlink Brand however,
I had one professional grade, cost me when i bought it over US$1,000 ; my son lend it to one of his friends and they blew it up.
Now I use one called Dr. HD 1000S+ It does the trick, I needed fast so that what it was available. I rather get Satlink but again Sathero is cheaper we should ask a user that has one like Sathero SH -800 or similar

Thanks a lot. I liked Dr. HD. I wish I can get it in my country. I was trying to get one around $100.
Thanks a lot for your detailed reply. Appreciated.

I have a sat hero 800HD.. And its crap! The spectrum is useless.. It jumps by itself.. I even updated it.. No luck.. Technical support sucks. They couldn't help me solve my problem til now. When i got it i was all excited.. I hooked up Intelsat 10-02 scanned it in all worked.. Saved the scan results.. I switched the device off unscrew the f connection, switched it back on channel's was showing i was busy with cables device was on the table powered on when i wanted to use it it froze like the menu not responding i powered it off and back on and the channels ,TP was gone..like it reset itself.. If tried scanning again nothing wants to scan.. It all a sudden wont want to lock signal and scan in it goes to 90% scanning and freeze. Iv contact support they tel me its the lnb..iv tried different lnb same result. SAT HERO IS CRAP a device that show signal but no lnb is plugged in. I waisted money on that and cant even use it til now its stil in its box
Freesat v8 golden,2* Freesat 7Max 2x 1meter disk ku, 1x 1.8meter solid dish, 1x 3.1meter dish. Receive from 22west - 78East  Sat Hobbyist
