Does Powervu auto update on the GTmedia V8 NOVA box ?
I am only looking at the Powervu channels on 4.8 east on transponders 12149 and 12418 which are the SIS / bookie channels.
I have a Freesat v8 super box now and just want a back up box in case anything goes wrong with what I have now.
Thanks.
Powervu AU on the GTmedia V8 NOVA box.

If you are watching the channels with the V8 Super you will also watch them with the V8 Nova. They used the same Softcam.key file
Re: Powervu AU on the GTmedia V8 NOVA box.
Are you saying that it does AU Powervu on 4.8 east ?
Re: Powervu AU on the GTmedia V8 NOVA box.
You did not read right. You mentioned that owned a V8 super already. So I assumed you can watch 4.8east on the V8 super? If so, them you can watch it on the V8 Nova as well. If you can not watch on V8 super then you will not in the V8 Nova
Re: Powervu AU on the GTmedia V8 NOVA box.
The Freesat v8 super box does AU on the SIS Powervu channels on 4.8 east.
My question is :
Does the GTmedia V8 NOVA box AU on those channels as well ?

Re: Powervu AU on the GTmedia V8 NOVA box.
I can confirm that the GTMedia V8 Nova box does AU on the SIS powervu channels, but it does take about 30 minutes, first time anyway.
It is much slower than the Freesat V8 Super box but it does do it.
I have also noticed that searching a single transponder takes about double the time of a Freesat V8 super box as well.
