No, it want make it faster, it will help with A F N CHs on 99.2w, BTW, you didn't say what receiver you have.

I update my V8 Super. But the PowerVu Key does'nt work for me with the softcam key for North America. We need a place the get the keys for The North.

I am testing now and I think screwed up my PowerVu I had it working. Most of them no longer open still hours leaving the receiver on to let it roll and puff nada nothing niet

I used only Ku-Band, i don't have C-Band here. But yesterday night and today on Galaxy19 11836 -V- 20768, IPWTV (5 channels was unlock). But encription stay to ? in the info bar. And somes channels are in Irdeto and hard to find keys.

Mysteriously all firmware have been deleted from the site WHY?

MB download over 330 channels...old firmware
FR download only 289 channels ,,... with new firmware

Both 2.4m antenna Norsat 5150F brand new to a 4x8 switch with power inserter .

is the firmware or is the decoder

Test done on 58W C band Intelsat 21 WH (Western Hemisphere ) ...

Well definitely is a decoder problem NOT THE NEW FIRMWARE

I have switch boxes / room and indeed one works the other not, when that happened I have no clue, I am using another brand IKS for a long time so I get to work now that I changed LNB, is scanning only H not on V. I can ONLY blame that I never disconnect the decoders when we have electric storms, and on my old setting I did not have all the antennas connected to the ground (grounded). Now "speaking out loud" V8 Super and V8 Golden out of the equation, and I believe is due to same problem "atmospheric static"

New firmware seems to be working except some do not open fast and other still waiting to open. I remember last year to Open XOF (invert the word) i took V8 Super like 3 hours

Will aim now to A F N see what the deal is

Is not the decoder either!

The Titanium ASC1 almost US $200 positioner is messing up with polarities. Removing it from the system. I believe (without testing is not compatible with the switch) I realized when switch room decoders and did the same thing. on My room there is no positioner on the line just straight to the multi-switch. Hopefully the old one has not the same problem

That you scan H and not V suggests that your two boxes are powering on to the same dish.
The one that has H will win as the blocking diodes in the splitters will pass the 18v and that blocks the second unit from seeing V on 13v.
May be you multi switch box is doing this.

Also check that your multi switch is outputting 18v to your LNB's. Some of those boxes only output 13v, even on the H ports.

I also could not see LNB via DiSEQc 2.0 4x. By direct cable, LNB works. What is the reason?

By "DiSEQc 2.0 4x" I assume you mean a 4 port standard DiSEqC switch?
I have had issues with Uncommited switches, DiSEqC 1.1, that you use for cascade switching to a second 1.0 switch.
I found that by adding a signal splitter or tone sat finder in the LNB cable at the box, I stopped the LNB over current protection cutting the power and resetting the 1.1 switch to port 1.

Several issues Owen, several at the same time.
1) the dish mover ASC1 From Titatnium was messing up with the multi switch that also has power inserter
2) I had a short on Ku LNB line coaxial cable
3) C band LNB feed were inverted V/H into H/V

Now works perfect
4 lines straight LNB’s to Multi-switch
3 outputs of the 8 used. 1 Master bedroom, Family room and Patio
Family room and Master bedroom to two different 8x1 Diseqc
Those Diseqc are fed by
2.4m Prime focus Kuy and C band 40.5W to 117W
76 cm Hispasat 30W
55 cm 77W
1.8m (not yet) antenna is in transit. But will be 121, 125 127 131 simultaneously 4 LNB multifeed

Now the new update takes longer time but it does the trick

Yes. I was referring to the 4-port bi-directional DiSEQc. (Version 2.0 - analog 1.0, but two-way communication with LNB). Two channels are involved - 1 - a turntable, 2 - fixed on the EutelSat 36E.
I'll disable DiSEQc altogether, but can I decode Viaccess using the built-in CCCam or NewCam?

You just need to make sure you download the software for the V8 super, and yes it is good for North America.
Make sure you save your channel database and softcam key file then load in the new firmware by all- code method.
If you update by all code and fail; to save your channel database and softcam file you will lose them.
Since the file is updating the core key emulator is is best to load the firmware by the all code method.
