Do you recommend running cooling fan of fans on the V8 Super? The V8 Super does not seem to warm as the V7 did. I'm running fans anyway just to be safe.

No mine does'nt heat. Keep it in a cool place without nothing on the receiver...

These Freesat boxes are made to last longer! No heating problems under normal heat, unless when you feel its beyond 38c.

The only way that a decoder will heat us are
- A Short on the line
- A faulty LNB
- A "poWer sucker" LNB

If any of the freesat models heats up something is wrong on your configuration
