I just received my Freesat GTT box yesterday. All the TV channels scanned OK.
But I have the following problem.
1. I formatted a USB2 thumb drive. I could see it at the setting menu. When I pressed the record butting, it said no storage found.
2. I used a USB3 64GB, and I faced the same problem.

Please help me as I need to record a TV program on a daily basis.

OK, I manage to record by pressing the record button and stored the recorded video to the USB thumb drive.

Next, I need to do schedule recording. I goto menu and select TIMER. I can change all the options except the first (PLAY). If I select PLAY, it will play the selected channel at the selected time. I am not able to select other options except PLAY. Do I need to do something for me to change from PLAY to RECORD ?

Any chance that the 128GB USB3 thumb drive space is not sufficient ?
Does it need a USB HDD ?
Will this unit work with WD Passport 1T USB HDD ?
