Hello there, I´m currently using a V8 Super receiver which has SCART type output port. With a SCART to RCA converter, I´m connecting a TV that does not support HDMI, but it seems that I´m loosing picture quality on the SD channels that already crapy.
Any advice to improve picture quality on this configuration?

Re: SCART to RCA
Try changing your V8 output from NTSC to PAL and also the resolution setting to match your older TV.
If your AV leads are old or cheap the earth wire for the video could be broken.
If this happens the video earth uses the audio earth and this can cause sound problems and some video lose.
Also I have found that those scart to AV plugs with the switch for input / output need their switch wriggled often to make them work better.
