Intelsat 18 Powervu question

Greetings from New Zealand.
Have just purchased a GTmedia V8X ( green ).
Auto roll works well on Intelsat 19 powervu 🙂
Now looking at Intelsat 18 transponder 4095R -
indicates as P on the receiver which may well be Powervu - unlike A F N network which is Powervu+
Can anyone confirm this IS18 transponder is Powervu or maybe it is some form of Powervu+
Sat on the 4095R transponder for 30 minutes and it does not seem to decrypt - maybe I am too impatient -have more than adequate level off a 3 mtr mesh .
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks and good receiving everyone.

Hi

Isar18 MTN as cpr43 said is P+.

A F N still rolls if you wait long enough.
Auto roll works well on Intelsat 19 powervu
Please what powervu did you get to roll on 166e as all discovery is P+?
Note new CNBC channels today on 166e. Tandberg.
Edited: brain fade. Yes the ABS CBN channels open.

Note the ABC SBS Multistream TP's on 160e Auzzy only beam) are moving to 172e 11044V45000, wide beam.
You need a universal LNB and none are on Trademe.
A 900mm dish only just gets them and the V8X should do the multistream with good signal.

Greetings FeralKiwi
True most of 166e is PowerVu +
The transponders which are still plain old Powervu are 4060H Intelsat "BBC - ESPN - CNBC"
and 4180H ABS-CBN
These all roll using the V8X.
Yes noted the new AU transponders on 172e last njght - will point a 600mm or maybe a 1.2 solid and see what happens.
Currently use a 2.4 mtr solid prime to unlock chan 9 mux from AU - has a very high FEC so it fades with heavy rain.
The mux on 172e has a lower FEC so hope the signal lock is a bit more stable !
Good receiving - J

I checked A F N today and it still rolls.
ABC SBS faded this morning with a 900, so will up to a 1.2m I did use for ch9 Mux before it went high fec.

Still working to get signal back on Ch7 mux on 160e v. 1000mm just breaking up.
Maybe they will move it to 172e as well, same receiver dishes at DVB-T retransmit sites.

I found in rain most of the fade is rain on the LNB face.
Oil, but note olive or motor as they eat plastic.
