Hi!
The screenshot function is shown after a long press on the off button.
However, it only takes a screenshot by default.
If we want to have an image as well, we have to change the player early with the green button Player.
The files are not saved to the USB, but to the Pictures / Screenshots internal directory.

It works fine, thanks for the explanation.
How can we transfer the screenshot that was made on the USB key?
It should be easy but I can't find it.

Like yourself, not found paths that allows a transfer/copy of an image to the USB.

At the mo, am attaching the selected screenshot/image using an email application (Gmail) on the GT Combo and sending it to myself !!!

Sure others here can assist. :D

Are these the sort of screen shoot you are after.
With the channel working, Press (INFO) on the remote Twice, you will get two windows come to the screen with all info with the picture
in the back ground. Press (INFO) this will take away the top window away, this will leave the Bottom window which will disappear within 5 sec's.

A member advised me to press and hold the Stop key to see the dialog box appear
top right. Select “screenshot”. I did it and no image. Here is my remote. Indicate the key
then press to save the image at the same time.

The best way that i know on getting a screen shoot is to get the picture you require on the TV, then use a (Digital Camera) take a photo, then upload onto your computer, then transfer to USB.
That is what i have done.

Press and hold the power button.

Then select screen shot.

The pic is then in local disk, pictures/screenshots.

I do not know how you get it out of there?

I know we receive an image of the receiver menu. My problem is getting the image of the channel which is projected on the screen.
And as I said, here is the image obtained on the local disk. You notice that there is no image of the channel being played. This is precisely the image obtained with a long press on the “Stop” key then “screenshot”.

Yes I just tested and just the TV picture a black screen is saved.
With menu graphics over the picture, as you have found yes just the graphics.

There is some error in this or rights protection is stopping the video part from being screen shot.
I have been told that Windows PC screen shots has added some of the rights protection.

You could record the video, and then use VLC player on your PC to take a snap shot.

I use a DVB-T modulator and send the output to another box and then record that to get graphics and video / menu shots.
you are unlikely to have a modulator. The best you may have is a TV with a video output.
A USB video capture card for you PC may also be used.

As said earlier, photo the screen with your phone.

I have a GTMedia Combo 4K. I lost this start screen probably by manipulating a button on the remote control
I would like some help and return to this screen.

If you mean that you do not see that screen at power on, you may have set a startup app in customize.

I have mine set to DVB app so it boots into the DVB app / TV.

Some of the issue is with the bit rate.
If the bite rate is over 15Mb/s then the unit starts to break up the picture.
If the bit rate is 40Mb/s then you get a few broken lines, maybe, at the top.
