Exportar Lista Canales - Freesat GTC

Post by maam64 »

Gracias.

It looks to me that the like the GTC is not using the USB memory to save to but is saving to the internal memory.

When I plug in a USB the light flashes for a long time as the GTC checks the USB.
Then nothing, no flashing when the user data is saved.
I think the new software does not set up the USB correctly.

The channel list from the V8 can not be loaded into the GTC.

To edit the GTC channel list use a xml editor.

xml editor:
I found and used this one:
xmlcopyeditor-1.2.0.12-install.exe
This is an XP version but there are other versions for modern windows too.
To be able to change data you need to got to the xml pull down menu and click on lock tags.

Hola,

You could attempt to re order your channels with the editor I listed above.
The issue is that you need to have each channel number appear only once in the xml list.

Example: Asiasat 7 Sahara TP and the first three channels.
The channel_number="18" is the listed position in the xml file.
default_channnel_num="18" is the display position.
This is the one you can change, But each number can only be in the list once.
fav="0" is the favorite list number.
lcn="2393" is the local channel number. This could be of more use as it can appear twice in the whole xml file.
You would then set LNC to "ON" in the setting menu.

All very tricky. I would wait for the software to move by menu.

Excellent explanation Owen, it is delicate to modify the .xml file. I would also wait for the next update.
