You need install burning tool, while installing it will also install the driver for the box.
After doing the above your box is not showing as connected [ please make sure your box OS is corrupted or stuck in booting ], If you are box is working normal then it will not show.

The problem is there are two versions of the GTC, a V2 and a V3, they use different firmwares and are not compatible. The only way 'they' can control which firmware you put on your box is to have it OTA, otherwise rhey will end up with lots of problems.
If you hit 'menu' while booting it will enter recovery mode and re-load the last firmware that was downloaded...it will erase all of the user data.... it may help some people.

AFAIK the V3's were being shipped late 2018, I purchased my V3 on the 20th December 2018. The giveaway is in the firmware, 6.2.37 is V2 and 6.3.37 is a V3. The OTA will only give you the correct version.

the menu button only works if the device "boots" but as it is, with only the green / yellow LED on, it does not work. In addition, this process only formats the entire device. do not enter in recovery mode. It is not recommended because you lose absolutely everything.

and if you was able to get a copy of a prvious firmware would that not also format the device. Whichever way you go you have to start from scratch....
