Hi every owner of a V9 Super! I want to buy this unit,but I want to know your opinion on this receiver...feel free to give it! Thks!

I do not think so.
Most HEVC channels are working well.
But the latest firmware (February 3rd, 2011) is still!

Yes i read about the probleme,here i used only Ku band with HH90 motor. Marsat and they other person explain about the trouble,but freesat can solved this trouble,but they do not!

The box itself has potential, but they just stopped updating the firmware for it not sure why???? its buggy at best.

Hi,
According to my previous experiences with V8 Golden compared to V9 Super I can say V9 Is not worth buying.
V9 has many issues, and I can see I am not the only one having those issues.
I can strongly recommend you to buy V8 series, which is pretty stable and fast, it has a small nice body and decent support.

Why is all the new stuff junk? Did some other company build the V8 Super and golden. And the current company built the GTC and V9? Or was the old engineering team replaced?

What i don't understand is why the company doesn't try to fix these problems or at least have a recall, or offer to replace the V9 with a known good receiver? Had i have manufactured a bad product in the united stated and not made the product good to the buyers. I would be out of business in a year.

I'm sure they make very little off the boxes to begin with. Seriously, a GTC, shipping included all the way from China for $69. Probably not much money left to pay the software engineer for a quality design. Maybe when they sell another 10,000 units we will get another update and not just a new launcher.

The worst problem with this receiver is that it does not record the $ channels.

I cannot see anh channels on GT Media V9 super loadimg cccam or newcamd.
Can someome assist? The admin of my account says my cccam is showimg connected but my channels are a scrambled
