Does not download content. "Data error" does someone work on version 4.2.84.9.469?

This happens when youtube changes the gateway address and the software in the finder has the old address.

It will need a software update for the finder, if they do for that one thing.

It works on S/W- 4.2.84.9.465 ( https://youtu.be/abs3uP0XvWI?si=9xtERNmuVrV4hZj_ ). I have the latest version 4.2.84.9.469. Will the old firmware be installed on top of the new one?

To load lower software you need to use the USB forced recovery method.

Hi

I did a test just now on my GT Media V8 Finder 2, firmware version: 4.2.84.9.469, You Tube works with this one too.

Mine is the green and blue version, the only difference I see compared to yours is in the HW version. V2.13.4 instead of V2.13.1 but I don't think it depends on that, since it works with the same firmware installed.

Thanks for the information.
If it's not difficult, write in more detail what kind of Wi-Fi adapter you have, model, chip, PID. I am using an adapter on an mt7601 chip, the seller recommends mtk7601. But are there any differences or is it the same thing?

Differences in the H/W version may be causal, because this determines the hardware stuffing of the device. Maybe someone can check the performance on H/W 2.13.1.? I had an old LG set-top box that stopped working after YouTube switched to the standard. But that was a long time ago.

I am using a Wi-Fi adapter with Ralink RT 5370 chipset, but if your adapter is recognized by V8 Finder 2 and shows you the green writing: Connect, it means that it works and that is not the problem.

Thanks for the information. I tried RT5370-it doesn't load. And what version of H/W V2.13.1 or 2.13.4 do you have? I have black. I tried to flash on 4.2.84.9.465, it doesn't work either. I changed the network and access points-it didn't help.

I have the blue green model, H/W V2.13.4

It can be assumed that the blue-green (h/w v 2 13 4) and black (v 2 13 1) devices differ at the hardware level. However, I found a video on you tube where it works on v 2 13 1 and firmware 4.2.84.9.465. I flashed to 465. It didn't help. It is alarming that the icon on the Label of the old-style youtube application was like this when it was working on another platform. Although the appearance of the label is certainly not an indicator. Among the possible reasons, only: 1.The old version of you tube. 2. Invalid API keys. 3. Any blocking by you tube for the region or equipment. 4. Or hardware problems of the device. Unfortunately, neither the seller nor those.GTM support does not want to understand anything and does not respond to requests. It is a pity that the manufacturer does not have the opportunity to check the device for counterfeit by serial number.

The blue-green (h/w v 2 13 4) and black (v 2 13 1) models may differ on a hardware level, but they both work with the same firmware, GT media releases a single version for both finders.

I think it's just a problem at the internet level, from your country it's impossible to connect to YouTube with the firmware/software of these finder while from mine it is.

I bought the Finder mainly to use it for pointing satellite dishes, not to watch YouTube, but if they have given this possibility it is right that it should work.

Does Biss autoroll work on your Finder?

If you have a motorized dish, can you see the A F N network channels on Eutelsat 9B at 9° east?

If it works it means that the Wi-Fi connection is working.

A F N does not need net and BISS au, that PWU.

I know perfectly well that A F N is in PWU and not Biss au, since you're there also explain why A F N don't need net, and in any case the question was mainly to verify the correct functioning of the Wi-Fi and this is needed by BISS au.

Do you have a Finder2? If so, does YouTube work for you? with what hardware and firmware? Do you want to make a contribution, please answer these questions.

Because the softcam calculates the key from the emms arriving on the channel, which is necessary to decode the ecms.

I admit my ignorance on certain topics like softcams etc etc, but not on all the rest of satellite technology, I hope your answer corresponds to the truth.

consider You Tube as an aid at work-to search for the necessary information, a hint at the workplace. I haven't figured out the settings of the CAS section yet. - I did not find the necessary information to enter manually. Maybe someone has up-to-date data for eutelsat 36B/AMU1. Please make and upload (or in person) an export file for subsequent import? Or tell me where to look? I understood your advice on checking the Internet in general terms. But to do this, you need to deal with the CAS section. Thanks for the advice.

Ok, but videos are too small for me when viewed on finder display monitor...

Biss au. works without needing to do anything in the Cas section,it is completely automatic, I suggested seeing if it worked to ascertain if your Finder--->Wi-Fi--->Internet link works.

I have never used the CAS section except to insert Biss keys manually when autoroll didn't give me any light, sorry,I can't help you any more with these issues.

Thank you. I realized that it is possible to check the operation of the wi-fi network in another way, without using you tube. I'll figure it out.
