Re: GT MEDIA COMBO STREAM TO PC
As far as I know this cannot be done that way. You must first export the playlist to a usb drive and then export that list to your pc/vlc.
If your channel list never changes then you are done. If you scan new channels you must perform the procedure over again.
With an xxxxc box you can connect directly to the box and retrieve the current list of channels. This is not possible with gtmedia devices.

To save a .m3u list from the GT Combo.
Start from the DVB TV app
Menu. DB Management. Export m3u list. Select the USB stick you have.
Then on PC open VLC and click on media (top left) open file.
Select the file from the GT Combo (gtcombo_playlist_2023_10_26_15_53_27.m3u)
Double click on the channel you want.
Still testing on the idea that you change the (http://192.168.1.67:7779/3671_4_GTCombolist.ts) to your external IP address and port forward the port number (7779) so you can access the same file / channel list from outside you house network.
Off out so more later.

Hi, Feralkiwi. Would the GT Combo method also work for me with my V8 UHD box? And were you ever able to get any further with the "Still testing..." idea? Thanks!Feralkiwi wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2023 3:04 amTo save a .m3u list from the GT Combo.

Re: GT MEDIA COMBO STREAM TO PC
Yes it works only in this way, except if you use the Ma.s firmware.
