No working video apk HBO MAX

the application downloaded from google play HBO MAX starts, but the movie does not play as if some codec is missing

I had same problem, I think that hbo app is crap ( I had similar on another android tv box), I sorted that by install kodi and hbomax kodi plugin. Its not that easy like using stright original app, but its solve problem anyway.
