Freesat V7 HD Boot problem
I have purchased the Freesat V7 HD from wish.com. The set top box is not booting properly and stuck at Freesat logo. I have tried the flashing from usb by rename the firmware flash.bin but was unsuccessfull. Please suggest the solution.
Re: Freesat V7 HD Boot problem
The first thing you should try is to send back to the seller and get a resend unit. Second, keep trying to load the file using the USB process but using different firmwares (Old and News) until it accept any. Finally if you cant do any of them try to recover using the RS232 and your computer:

Re: Freesat V7 HD Boot problem
Thanks for your early response. I want to tell you that Shipping cost is very high to return the set top box. The problem is with software only and I will try to resolve it. Do let me know where i find the Rs232 cable or connector.

Please look at this RS232 instruction for the V8 Finder. It is much the same for the V7HDdrvijaysharma22 wrote:Thanks for your early response.
