Freesat V8 super do not upgrade by usb

Post by david.leite »

When upgrading from last upgrade of January and February, it happens that when rebooting, the box gets blocked in boot mode and then it does not pass.
I have to upgrade it by RS232.
Can you give me some clue or clarification? thank you so much.
cuando hago el upgrade por USB al reniciar la box ella queda en mode BOOT y dasde ahi no pasa.
Tengo que hacerlo por modo RS 232. Alguien me pude dar una ayuda? gracias.

First you can try the flash.bin method.

Place a copy of the unpacked software (the .bin file) on a USB stick and rename it "flash.bin"
With the USB in the unit, power on while repeat pressing "Menu" on the remote. You must use the V7 remote on the V7.
The unit should reload the software.

There are instruction here on refreshing your box.

My instruction on the V8 Finder that needs a internal cable connection.

This on Flashing

Good luck
