Ok,been wabting to try C Band on my 4 ft. (1.2m ?) CM Dish.Finally got around to yrying it.Getting A F N Mux at 4025 & LEASEA Chans is about all,but was AMAZED I COULD GET THAT ! No luck on 3900 Mux.

BTW: Screen shows AMC-8 for Sat,pay no attention to that,just used it to Scan Chans in
Actually on G16,& V7 Max rolled keys even though on diff Sat Name !

I was going to ask you a lot of questions, but finally my V7 just fired up on NSS 9 12:59 australian time happy now down here only get A F N DTS(direct to sailer) 3 channels prime, news and sports with a 10 foot disc c-band

You should add a conical scalar. Your signal will increase. I get g17 cw, fox mux on 3820, jewelry tv, byu, classic arts, sometimes univision, a few other muxes but can’t get them to open. Here’s a pic of my setup.

My Longitude is 85.9.Latitude 31.8.That explains the positioning.
If u notice in pic,there really is not enough room for the big scaler.Also can position LNBF so much better without it
Prob have another 1.2m Primestar Dish,may set up later.But gotta order more LNBF'S,think that was my last one.

You can order them from wish. They take a long time to arrive though. I’m in canada that’s why my dishes are so vertical. My geosatpro 36” aimed on 125w for pbs is almost aiming at the ground!

Yup,offset Dishes are always pointing 22 or more degrees towards the ground than Prime Focus Dishes...

Cool that you got it running on a 4 footer.

I have a 4 footer, but haven't gotten around to putting it up. Not sure what I want to use it for; the only satellites I don't have covered with my motorized dishesare probably too far east or west for a 4 footer to pull in anything but the strongest transponders, if even them.

Yup,decisions,decisions....lol !
Got some of the biggest Primestar Dishes wanna put up too,and 3 more 7.5 footers!
Gets boring,just watching tv,love installing,peaking,moving to diff sats,etc.
As Moley,puts it,It's The Climb....LOL !

Blue conical will only work in Offset dish. Prime focus will work best with flat .

Don't let it fall on its face.
That type of petal, pressed metal dish stretches open like a flower opening if they fall over on the LNB.
